Well, at the very heart of what we do are the words, ‘Pride’ & ‘Joy’. Firstly, we take great pride from being chosen to look after your prized possession. This faith is repaid by providing you with total peace of mind that your car is being looked after by like-minded enthusiasts. The joy then comes from working with fantastic cars and seeing you satisfied with our work when you are reacquainted with your vehicle.

Our objective is to treat every vehicle that enters our care as if it is our own. In fact, our facilities do house our own cars too!

Passion

We are incredibly passionate about motor cars. Be it a deep dish steel wheel on a Triumph TR6, the side strakes of a Ferrari Testarossa or the note of an Aston Martin Vantage exhaust - we just love cars!

We also recognise that different owners have different reasons for owning the car they do. For some it is merely a convenience, a device to get from A to B. For others it could be a treasured heirloom or something they have worked all their life to be able to own and enjoy. We respect and care about each reason and will keep those reasons safe, along with your car.

Peace of Mind

Once you have chosen to place your car in our care you can rest assured that we have the security in place to keep it safe and will maintain a level of discretion tailored to you. For full details on our security systems please enquire but be assured it includes a state of the art, externally monitored, alarm and CCTV system that has been designed to meet our exacting requirements. Not only that but our site is ‘secure by design’ in that it is at the end of a no through road and well away from prying eyes. We also own and operate the whole site, control and manage all access and live a mere 20 metres away from the storage facilities!

Flexible Access

We don’t operate conventional opening hours, instead we base our working day around you. All we ask is 48hrs notice in order that we can perform our 'Handover Checklist' ready for your arrival.

If you are collecting by yourself, worth noting is that we are happy to rotate your ‘daily driver' into our storage facility whilst you enjoy your Pride & Joy. Alternatively we have ample, secure, outdoor parking available. Also available are local bus and rail station pick-up, or drop off, free of charge.

Storage Environment

Our facilities have been designed to provide the optimal environment in which to store cars. They are double skinned and fully insulated with a climate that is continuously monitored by multiple dehumidifiers. Come rain or shine these dehumidifiers maintain a humidity of around 55%RH - which is crucial in the fight against corrosion.

The equipment we use to help us care for your car has been specifically chosen to maintain, and work within the environment we have created.

Automotive Management

Once your car is in our care if you need anything taken care of or are in any doubt of ‘who, where or how’, please just ask us. Our sister company, MB Automotive Management, is able to organise and oversee everything from MOT’s and servicing, professional valeting and detailing, photography, through to paint and bodywork and full restorations.

In addition to this, MB Automotive Management also take care of any regular requirement, or storage ‘bolt-ons’, you may require for your car. We like to call this Active Storage

Where abouts are you located?

West Gloucestershire. Please see here for a rough guide.

Why the secrecy?

We do not reveal our exact location on any platform (Google etc) for the added security that provides. On enquiry you will be provided with an approximate location. Only after you have filled in our booking form will you be provided with the full address.

Can I come and view your facility before I bring my car?

Viewing is strictly by appointment and subject to providing some identification. Alternatively we can provide a personalised video which details our operations.

I have a collection of cars, can I rotate cars into storage as and when I please?

Absolutely! Our aim is to help owners to enjoy their cars. All we need is some very basic details on the car to be rotated in and enough notice (48hrs) to prepare the car being rotated out.

How often do you check the cars?

Every day. Any changes in condition (fluid loss, battery health etc.) are then reported to the owner.

Do you have a social media presence? I don’t want my car plastered all over Facebook!

We do have a Facebook and Instagram presence. However, we will only share photos of your car if you grant us permission to do so. Even if permission is granted we will still obscure all number/identification plates.

Is there a minimum storage period?

Yes, 12 weeks. However, that does not mean to say the car cannot leave before the 12 weeks has elapsed. You can remove your car at any time, temporarily or permanently.

What are your payment terms and how do I pay you?

All payments are in advance and non-refundable. Bank Transfer is preferred although we happily accept Debit or Credit Card on site. Following the initial 12 week minimum storage period, owners can choose to either pay four-weekly or for 26 weeks at a time. The four weekly payment option is by Direct Debit only.

Is the four-weekly payment option more expensive than the 26 week payment option?

No! Our payment options work out at the same weekly price, as advertised here. The term options, like everything we do, is geared to owners requirements - not our own.

How much notice do you require to terminate our agreement and when am I allowed to remove my car?

You can permanently remove your car from storage with as little as 48hrs notice. You can do this at any stage of your storage.

Will I need to maintain my own car insurance?

Yes, to a minimum level of third party, fire and theft. This is a term of our contract with you. It is also worth noting that all car insurance policies will contain a term which states that they must be updated on where the car is being kept - we recommend you do this before bringing us your car.

Do you have insurance?

Absolutely! We are backed by a leading insurer and have a policy tailored to what we do. Full details are available on enquiry. These details can also be supplied directly to your insurer if requested.

Can I use my car whilst it is stored with you?

Absolutely! Everything we do is geared to having your car ‘ready to go’ when you are. All we need is 48hrs notice.

Are you open on the weekend? What are your hours of business?

We don’t operate normal opening hours. One of the many benefits of living on site is that we can be open, with the required 48hrs notice, whenever you want us to be. There are no out of hours or weekend charges. It is your car to enjoy when you see fit.

I’m dropping my car off on my own. Can you help me get back home?

Yes. We offer local bus and rail station collection, and drop-off, free of charge. All we ask is that you let us know beforehand so we can make the necessary arrangements.

I notice you offer Carcoon (Air Chamber) storage. Why would I need to store my car in a Carcoon?

The Carcoon offers a totally isolated environment in which to keep your car. All air is filtered into the Carcoon and once inflated it circulates it’s own air through active carbon filters in order to maintain a perfect environment. It is the ‘next level’ in car storage and even eliminates the need for a car cover.

Do you have availability to store my car right away?

Please enquire here. Availability is ever changing but we will always do our best to accommodate.

Why are you cheaper than your competitors?

We cannot answer for the pricing of our competitors. What we can say is that we are a small, family owned business that takes great pride in offering a great service at a fair price. Our total capacity for cars is not huge and the workload is therefore manageable with a small team. We hope that, in time, you will get to know us all and come to value the personal service we offer.

I want to take my car out of storage for the Summer but don’t want to lose my spot for the Winter, what can I do?

More often than not, owners will continue payments in order to maintain their spot whilst they are enjoying their car. Alternatively, you are free to rotate in another car in its place. If neither of the above suits you then the best advice we can give is to keep in touch with us so that we can advise on availability.

Can you collect and deliver my vehicle?

Yes, we offer driven collection and delivery or, if you prefer, open and enclosed transport. Please contact us for a quotation.

I’ve just bought my car and I’m not sure it is running right - can you take it out for me and see what you think? I’d also like some jobs done on it.

Yes, we can most certainly take your car out and give you our appraisal. All services outside of storage are managed by our sister company, MB Automotive Management. Through this we can also offer regular maintenance options which may help, such as, engine warm ups and road exercise.

I’ve got a list of jobs I need doing on my car. Can you help?

We are always happy to help with any job you may require for your car. Our sister company, MB Automotive Management, has a trusted network of specialists in paint and body work, valeting and detailing as well as the mechanical work and servicing of most marques.
